The Nomenclature and Standards Committee of the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (NC-IUPHAR) defines the official receptor nomenclature and classification system for G protein-coupled receptors (Class A, B1, B2, C, F). NC-IUPHAR's classifications are curated and disseminated through the IUPHAR/BPS Guide to PHARMACOLOGY (GtoPdb).

AlephConforma did not query the GtoPdb API directly. Class labels used in our per-class validation breakdown were retrieved from the GPCRdb REST API, which adopts the NC-IUPHAR nomenclature (see the GPCRdb entry).
